Bug Report: Reloading animation

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:51 pm

Hi guys (devs),

Found a bug that popped up with the recent patch. I know you tried to fix some of the reloading issues related to manually-loaded firearms but a new problem has arisen.

When using a manually loaded firearm (Cowboy Repeater), crouching, and loading less than a full clip (less than 7 rounds), the reloading animation never ends. It continues to cycle the animation of the character loading a round. Too break the cycle you can either stop crouching, or use the change ammo type command (if another ammo type is available).

I know you have been trying to squash this bug, I understand how complex this particular system is. Hope you have better luck next time. I can post more details if necessary.

Yeah, very annoying bug. I seems that while the powers that be were attempting to correct some bugs in the game, managed to introduce another one. Unintentional? Yes, but still damn frustrating. hopefully this will not take much longer to fix.
