Crash after few secs

I did a clean Oblivion install with FCOM OOO, MMM, WarCry... Everything looks ok so far, used boss, bashed patch..

I'm lost.. Could it be the bashed patch options ? Or some mod conflct?

Rebuild your Bashed Patch without the Mayu's Skeleton option under Tweak Actors and see if that helps.

Already have. Same thing happens. Game runs for 10 sec, I have time to set up deadly reflex basically, then it crashes.

I imported Cava Obscura mod as well.
Also, is there no version of FCOM Archery that could work without Fran's? It says it needs Fran's ESPs.

Still no chance.. it crashes about 15 seconds after I launched a new game... What's happening there? Mods initializing ?

These are not likely likely culprits, but remember to check your Obse plugins just incase, if you have any.

I′m saying this because I started having a similar problem like you, all my saves are affected, and I haven′t changed the modlist in a year, since I have been only modding and testing briefly. Only things I have added since it began are Obse plugins, but I haven′t tested if any of them could be the problem.

What happens to me is that the whole game freezes, but the strange thing it doesn′t happen always. But when it happens, it′s the very same save (well any of them) that just worked, and suddenly it freezes within 10s from loading.

I'm not really sure, I just installed FCOM, so I only started fresh new games. I thought i screwed something in the FCOM installation, I was especially unsure about Bashed Patch, even though I don't see why crash would be delayed in such a way.

OBSE plugins work fine so far, I played with them alone without FCOM before installing it. And it was running fine.

I too get game freezes on a clean install. Mine only happen in the exteriors, used to get them in the IC but that stopped after I disabled Modems city life. Screen freezes sound keeps playing and Oblivion stops responding in exteriors. Get from 0 to about 20 minutes play time before it happens. Tried swapping on board sound for card as well as a few suggested ini tweaks and making sure drivers updated. None made a difference. Running Win7 Pro on an i7 CPU system with a GTX 295 card. Directx 11. Mod list posted below case something jumps out as a problem. thanks

Post your load order via Wrye Bash: Right-click File-header > List mods > Paste.

Does it happen only if you choose FCOM and no other mods has well ?

Try deleting the Oblivion.ini under mydcoument's mygame's and let the game rebuild your a new.ini

You should not be using MMM City Defences with Open Cities

Update MMM Diverse Waterlife to the Update version posted in MMM thread in my sig

Okay I removed mods one by one, and removing Open cities plugins seems to get rid of the crash. (yes I removed MMM city defenses beforehand.)

I'd like to keep Opencities if possible, any ideas on why it crashes?

edit: Okay I found out
It seems to be a bug when Knights unofficial patch is activated at same time as open cities

Also, I just noticed there was an unofficial patch for the unofficial patch...

I have the same problem, when I start the game it crashes after a few seconds that is I do not
even get to the startup, I deactivated all the mods I recently has but to no avail, it still crashes.
I know that it is OOB that makes it crash because when I deactivate it the game works.
I have the 1.32 version with the 1.33 patch installed. I would appreciate some help please.

Try deleting the Oblivion.ini in My Documents/My Games/Oblivion and let the game generate a new one on startup. Other than that it's impossible to give advice w/o more details, e.g. a posted load order.

I did not manage to find this Oblivion.ini so I have decided to take an unorthodox approach, I am going
to delete the game from my computer and then reinstall it, after that I am going to reinstall OOM first
and we will see how that works, thanks for the advice.

I have found the problem, it is colliding with a mod called "Frostcrag reborn" which is a pity but alas what could one do, so now I have to choose.
