When is this going to be restored to the Steam store? I am a Brit and live in Japan so ALL UK online shops are blocked for me. The only thing I can access is the UK Steam store which was kindly unblocked to me by Valve.
I can't find any news about when it will actually appear on the Steam store though?!

this is really bad business keeping paying customers waiting. I for one am starting to loose interest in this game.

I would like an offical announcement just so that i know they haven't forgotten us UK gamers.

I'm also wondering if they hav pulled it off steam due to UK law stating that a game must be playable within certain parameters or you are not allowed to sell it.

is that offical or just a rumour ? Finding a shop in the UK that sells PC games is getting harder and harder - kinda reminds me of when i owned a CD32 - but thats a different story :)

I have to state that I purchased Brink from the Steam Store in the UK, I was able to pre-load it in the days leading up to the 10th of May, and then on the 13th of May simply installed and then launched it.

It would appear that the block of purchase took place on all orders after date x, those who bought and downloaded the game pre-European release should have been able to access it.

I believe the reason for the Steam UK shut out is that Bethesda have done what THQ did to Homefront. They sold distribution rights to physical retail shops like Game, HMV and the supermarkets.

Bethesda, there are reasons why shops like HMV and Game are turning over quarterly losses! Can you guess why? Go on... I'll give you a hint... "dated business model". Did you get it yet? No, try again!

So heres something to mull over. NO PURCHASE from me. Enjoy!

as Steam will not even acknoledge the problem it's hard to be "Official", but they did screw up the codes through D2D but another reason may be the consumer protection laws recently passed in UK that give buyers 7 days to return for refund, and Steam only does store credits afaik, either way neither Bethesda or Steam are saying anything

Brink is still available from Steam in NA
