Info addicts

So half or me wants to know everything I can about Skyrim before I play it, the other half wants to know nothing before I get to experience Skyrim.....

What if you didn't know your were Dragonborn when you first played Skyrim? I think it would add a lot to the story and experience if I had no idea.
Almost every day I'm checking the forums and sites for more information but in the end I think it will dampen my Skyrim experience.
What's your opinion? Why do you want to see trailers, read articles and listen to interviews?

I do it because I like the community more than anything else. I frequent these forums to share ideas and discuss the game, not to hear the latest news. That stuff will cross my path anyways and I know to hold my tongue and read other threads and search before asking something that may be old news. However, seeing as I DO frequent the boards I am aware of everything very fast.

The longest I have stayed away from these boards was last week when I installed a new HDD on my computer so I had to reinstall my OS and get it back how I like it again, then I got Mount and Blade for 10 bucks and have spent a few days immersed in that.

This. I'm on the forums everyday. I check the forums periodically throughout the day via my phone so it makes it really easy to stay connected.

While being the Nerevarine was the big plot twist in Morrowind, being Dragonborn here is not. It doesnt mean we have to speculate on what if we didnt know we were dragonborn...but, what is the twist gonna be.

I'm not all that concerned with the info ruining my experience once I finally get to step into Skyrim. I don't expect to get more than general info to wet my appetite from these forums or from the website. When I step into the game, and I finally see and grasp the full scope of the world and story, I expect I'll still be impressed and swept up in it.

I totally agree with you. I swear, I'm more addicted to reading info on Skyrim and posting on this forum than I am to playing Morrowind (and Oblivion). :P

But ya, I tell myself everyday that Skyrim would be better if I stop right now... but... I can't! Ok, I can do this, 12 step program... :P

I want to know everything regarding the game's details. I could use without main quest spoilers, but otherwise, keep all the info coming. I am on this site everyday checking, and will be until the game's release! :tops:
