Because I havent entered yet. I rented Brink and played it for a while, BUT the graphics on the 360 are plain terrible, the AI is a death machine, the Heavy is weak, and the parkour seems limited. With all these problems I cant justify to myself the price of the game. So I will wait. YES! Waiting is my best option at this point. I guess three months will do it, fixed problems/balance, a few new maps, graphics updates and patches. If the game is still 50-60 dollars then it will be ok, but if it is lower then I will getting something worth my coin.

To all the early adopters and day one buyers, I SALUTE YOU... and my heart goes out to you.

Its not enabled on these forums. There were issues in the past that lead to them being disabled. There are several chrome extensions that can enable them again, but it'd only be for your viewing.

I'm also shelving this game. Its a lot of fun, but at the moment it doesn't seem to want to run properly on my ATI card.

The graphics aren't amazing no, but considering the gameplay is quite good it more than makes up for it. The graphics in Black Ops aren't much better, for the record.

At the same time, it is pretty much shelved atm for me too. Needs some content. Due to the nature of the multiplayer it's much easier to get bored doing something linear than just running around killing. Shame is, when it's good - this game is amazing. When it's at it's worst it is pretty average.

I'm stuck to brink like a sticky bomb, except I don't want anyone to remove it.

An update for the Xbox 360 (and PS3 Im pretty sure) is out now for Europe, and should be out in NA later this weekend, which is supposed to fix all the lag and texture problems. Unsure if it does yet or not. Plus new maps, customization, abilities, and ranks are coming out in June sometime, so you won't have to wait that long.
Thank you for not whining on the forums and being mature unlike a lot of the new members!
I usually only give these to new members, but you are an exception for me.
Here, have a turtle :turtle:

Graphics on PS3 are fine, pop-ins are no worse than Borderlands and pixelation is no worse than BC2 as far as I can see. Am I the only person who was 100% satisfied with their equivalent of a $86 US purchase and then some?

Of course not, some people are satisfied, but others have different standards, and different wants out of a game. Some people notice graphic problems more than others or some require more variation in content.

For me it is the limited map selection and the limited modes. And I get more fun from TF2 (FROM 2007) than a do from Brink. A lot to do with preferences and rough edges right now, so maybe a sale will change my mind.
