The differences between races

I'm really hoping they made sure that you can tell between the human like races eg Breton and Imperial like hairstyles and what not as in Breton have more curly wavy type and darker features.

In one of the gameinformer videos, they mention that they've focused on having greater visual distinctions between each of the races. So hopefully, your hope will be fulfilled.

You got Bretons mixed up with the Redguards and their hair was more curly compared to the other human races and they did have darker features so you really don't have anything to complain about.

They are spending a lot of time doing just that, both magazine articles have covered this, it is a goal for Skyrim.

Um no I'm talking about the Bretons dude, In the lore it describes them as having darker features and in Oblivion other then the names you really couldn't distinguish between them and the Imperials.

I made a high elf the other day in Oblivion, and looked at his neck-line. His skin went from golden, to peach. I ran a few tests and realized that the body is the exact same no matter what your race or skin colour is (out of the lighter skinned human-like races, I realize the body shape is also the same across the board.). In skyrim they better make your body the same color as your face, and they better have different body graphics for different races (and different body types within each race to choose from, I don't want my 80 year old high elf mage to have the same 6-pack as my 20 year old high elf warlord.)

I think that not only will there be a greater difference between the races but you can also (i think) choose a body shape you like i.e. thin, muscular, portly.

I heard somewhere that Skyrim has 80+ voice actors, over Oblivion's 10.

What lore is that?

Bretons are basically humans with a higher aptitude for magic. If anything they are meant to have fairer features than the imperials...

Along with the improved distinctions among races, I would like some height and weight differences. Have some obese people waddling around or something. :hubbahubba: But seriously, they need to add diversity. I want much more extensive hair styles, including facial hair (realistic, not just a shading).

It wasn't annoying, it was repettive. I thought it was a major improvement that everyone sounded different enough that I it took a while to catch the same voice actor on two different characters on Fallout 3 and New Vegas. It was a vast improvement from "Oh look it's an elf, it needs to sound like EVERYONE ELSE." If they get like 2 or 3 voice actors per race+six, or have the voice actor sound a little different for some of the characters, this problem wouldn't be there.

EDIT: i aur maek very gud writings furst tiem.

Yes. I think they were supposed to be tall, with fairer skin and dark hair.

I could go for this, as long as you can customize your character in every way the game sets it up for.
