Waiting gives me a CTD every time.

Every single time I wait, I get a CTD. It always happens after the time has passed and the game is loading the data after. I didn't used to have this problem. I disabled all mods that were added from the time I didn't have the issue until now. No luck. I'll post my load order. Maybe someone has an idea.

Do you have streamline to purge on wait? I had the same problem and I just changed streamline purge from 3 to 4 and purge on wait to 0.

Yes, I do have it set on purge on wait. But the CTD has been upgraded to after about 10 seconds it crashes.

Yes, turn off purge on wait in Streamline. Also turn off save on wait/travel/sleep generally if you haven't already.

I figured it out. It was Reneer's Guard Overhaul. Odd being that I had been playing that mod for a pretty good amount of time with no problems. But it just started giving me CTD's. So I just removed it from my load order.

I'll say it for the millionth time: RGO does not cause repeatable CTDs on its own! If it did, not only would I be swamped with the number of complaints, but I'd be experiencing the damn CTDs myself! I've been running the mod longer than anyone else, and I very, very rarely get a CTD and never a repeatable one!

Can we please move beyond the tired cliche of "It must be RGO's fault if I removed it from my load order and suddenly no CTDs!"

Oblivion modding is much more complex then that, first off, and secondly it could have easily been some other mod that broke RGO or maybe even RGO was just one piece out of a chain reaction of events that caused the game to crash. But simply removing the mod from your load order - after it's been working for a long time - doesn't mean that it was the direct cause of the crashes.

Alright, calm down. One thing that can be said without a doubt: RGO is gone and no CTD's. You're right, it isn't RGO alone, but RGO is involved or I wouldn't correct my CTD's by removing the mod from my load order.
