ETA on Online Stats page?

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 1:24 pm

Has anyone else noticed that the link to the "coming soon" statistics page is gone from www.brinkthegame.com?

Also, here is an article for those who want to read up on some more details about the page - if/when it goes up:

Shame.
I think Treyarch got ahead of themselves with advertising their online stats for WaW too didn't they? (Feel free to correct me if I got the wrong game).
Man trying to find the "Create User Profile" section to redeem my code just wasted me 3 minutes I coulda been playing!
Hehehe

The dead button link is back on the site...
We shall see about where it leads from there.

I played a LOT of MAG,and that's a game with very intensive stat tracking, and all it does is make people very selfish players going for certain ribbons and medals, and is a game where matches can be won with 2-3 beasts on a platoon of 32 people. There's no way that Brink can be won with only one or two players on a team,so this isn't a game for "me first" game play.

THANK YOU. Not to mention the [censored]-baggery surrounding KDRs in that game. The only reason I even bothered trying to keep a good KDR was so that I wouldn't be targeted or called-out as a "scrub".

Im more for a stats page that has a heat map for where most of your shots land or your skills and abilities and what skills you use most. I could care less about how many people I have killed or my HS%. Those type of stats only lead to a bunch of people thinking they are "elite"

Having a set of stats that says what your K/D is, will only make people more selfish, you will get more people buffing themselves instead of others and medics that would rather heal themselves than pick up a team mate. Don't get me started on people who will just pad their stats in the offline portion of the game.

I dont think people realize that the offline and online portions of this game are the same. So someone with a high K/D could have gotten that while playing offline against easy bots.

I just want to know what levels I still need to beat on versus or hardmode personally. So disappointing they aren't up.

It seems no one on this forum follows splash damage on twitter since all the questions about the stat site and the eta on console patches has been answered by them.

Also, the statistics site will go live Tuesday for 360/PS3, with PC following very soon after that

This.

Splash damage seems to be more reliable for info than the other sites, at least you and me checked there.

Says Tuesday. That would be... The 31st.

For Neg1 and Steelra:

This post was created a while before any details were surfacing about the actual content of the stats site.

I do thank you for posting those links.

I check www.brinkthegame.com every couple of days and that's where I get my news from. On the site there are links to the blog as well as their live twitter feed on the side.
There were no details before yesterday.

But I do think that Splash Damage does give out a lot of information. I have posted on other threads some of their links and interviews.
I just hope that the stats site and the DLC will be great.

I finally am happy to see the "battle for the ark" brought to light on that screenshot posted above. I wonder if there will be any perks/changes/benefits for the side who won the most missions the previous week...
