I love the fact that it detonates on impact. I think it makes the under-barrel grenade launcher particularly useful.

Grenades aren't killing weapons, they're support weapons. You're just doing it wrong.

Underbarrel Grenade Launchers just speed up the grenade throw a LOT, and you have much more control over where you want it to to explode.

To me the benefit of the under barrel is that it essentially makes your grenades function like molotovs without having to be a soldier. If you run up on a group or a couple people working on an objective you can get a knock down on all of them without waiting to throw the grenade or hoping they dont move away from the grenade before it blows up.
