No, sometimes a good poll is made. Though many are useless, you're right about that. Like this one.

Besides, it's not as bad as before. 25% of the Skyrim threads used to be polls, it's only going down now.

Worst Poll Ever

This has nothing to do with Skyrim as it is a general question but polls are an option on the forums, they are here to stay. If you feel the poll is pointless you always have the choice to ignore it and not reply.
