The Spirit Sword of A'tor

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:58 am

I was reading through the Redguard storyline today and was wondering what ever happened to the Spirit Sword of A'tor? I know Cyrus gave it to Iszara, but is there any information on what happened to it afterwards, or what happened to her? any speculation, ideas, theory's?

They don't actually say what happened to it, but I would guess they buried it with Izara. Or put it in a glass case.

Ahh, so nothing at all? That svcks. I would think that it being such a powerful artifact that it would be kept away somewhere safe, though I don't know where exactly that may be. The Hall of Virtue perhaps?

Also, another quick question so I don't have to start a new thread on it, The A'lkir is supposed to be the hottest desert on Nirn, correct? Deserts tend to be really hot in the day, and really cold at night, so would it be fair to say that the A'lkir would extremely cold at night, and deadly without proper protection?

If it's arid enough to be a desert, then it ought to be, yes (since it is water vapour in the air that normally prevents the ground from radiating its stored heat back into space at night). Geographically, of course, there's no way in hell the Alik'r could ever be arid enough to be a desert in the first place. Very little of Nirn's climate makes any kind of sense.

You're telling me; there's always only one season.

Yeah, there is only one season in Cyrodiil and Morrowind. In High Rock and Hammerfall, there are multiple seasons.

I know, there's supposedly seasons in lore, but it doesn't show in the game; I'd like to see the change of daylight hours, seasonal weather, and maybe even people doing different things in different seasons.

Shades is talking about Daggerfall, which did feature seasons.

I'd like seasons too, but I'd rather they attend to the more important problems first.

Thanks for answering my question about the desert, though honestly, I'm more concerned about the sword. I guess the devs didn't develop anything afterwards, though I figured someone might have some idea.

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.

Didn't it show up in the sword-meeting?
