Hey guys.
I have played Oblivion since it came out and modded the crap out of it. Now I have been away for a year and a half and wants to get back for a kinda warm up for the new came.

I bet a lot has happened in the modding department and I am a little lost.

I know this is asking a lot, but would someone be kind enough to guide me through where I have to begin to mod my Oblivion again.
I am interested in total conversion mods like FCOM and I want to make the game as pretty as possible.

I guess I need some programs like OMOD (where do I get that) and surely some more programs like that, but which?

Last time I played I often ran into troubles with a very unstable game because all mods had to be installed manually and it was easy to mess something up and it could be extremely had to find the faulty mod/s. Has the game gotten more stable and easier to use and install mods? Before it was a hell of trial and error.
