Ambient Music?

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 11:09 am

What part of the game do you guys think this ambient music will play in? (1:15) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KcZAjl_z-M

Personally, IMO, it sounds to me either a cave/dungeon or wandering through mountains...leaning more towards cave/dungeon music though.

It sounds too grand for a dungeon. Perhaps exploration music for a certain area of Skyrim?

I would go for outside wilderness exploration. Definatly doesn't sound like town/city music, and as Skyrimmer said, it sounds to grand (and too thematic) for a dungeon.

If not that, play while in the menu (before playing the game that is >_>....)

Sounds to me like music that would only play at night, to add that epic feeling.

Since the link you gave consists of a medley of the music of the Skyrim announcement-trailer and the music which was played during the time-lapse art video, you should first specify onto which music part your question is refering to !

He did. He said "1:15", which indicates at what point in the video the song starts.

Oh emm gee that music sounded so incredible!

I pictured my character walking through stormy weather in a dense forest or in a deserted, once illustrious city because it just has that king of high and mighty feeling to it, like the song is unravelling an ancient history or something along those lines.

This music is awesome... wow... But I think it would be exploration when you are in the mountains. But this music fits perfectly for this game, or a movie! Almost reminds me of lord of the rings music..

It sounds rather martial in scope, the beating of the doom-drum, I would guess some kind of climactic battle at the end of the narrative's arc
