Hello,

I have encountered a bug or glitch whatever you wish to call it and currently find myself unable to progress the way in which I would like to progress.

Currently own fallout new vegas for pc and ps3 and this particular bug is happening on ps3

Now I am on for the republic part 2 where I need to find out the omertas plans by talking to receptionist however the dialogue is not there to do this.

Now my theory is that because I am on the omerta quest where I need to get chlorine and salvaged gun parts and he has already went over his plan and I believe the receptionist specifed in this quest I am unable to do it in the quest called for the republic 2.

If I am unable to do this quest it hinders me from wanting to progress onward, I would just like to know if any patches are coming to ps3 that might correct this. I have heard a patch hit the ps3 but I am still stuck here and was curious of any more patches maybe there is a fix for this that I just dont know about.

But any information would be greatly appreciated

have you talked to troike about the guns. set him free. and then destroyed the guns with thermite.

if not try that. also did you take cachinos diary and extort him yet.

after the troike thing go talk to cachino and finish the mission

Sadly here is the thing, I already got rid of cachino saving joana, so never extorted him for what the bosses were doing.

Also I already handed troike the salvaged gun parts and he only has two dialogues none of which give me option to destroy the guns >.<

Its a really difficult situation for me lol I appreciate your response and hopefully you see my reply and can give me another idea.

Cause as I said if there is no solution to this I think my time in new vegas is over, I came so far and if its impossible to go further the way I wanted to go I dont see a point.

But hopefully there is some good news someone can give me

talk to big sal about releasing troike from his contract. then talk to troike again

if this doesnt work then just kill Big Sal and Nero. and go talk to the girl who gave you the quest- mission acomplished
