No, I don't use that mod.
I'll have a look in my load order for other mods that might change dialog and disable them. Thanks!

SPOILERS and Bugs

Major :
I went to fort dyme where I had gone before the related quest and I couldn't manage to open the porticulis to BH's lair this second time - it doesn't get properly reset. I went through with tcl and I met a very quiet spirited BH - not sure if he's meant to be. If he really is that friendly I would appreciate his speaking a topic on the key, it feels buggy otherwise. The aforementioned key on the desk for some reason is in the desk - I had to disable the desk to get it.
minor:
Arkyon when offering a horse to me (which I refused) he then has a topic like did you find this for me ? and I can answer yes before I have the item - but it is the answer for the horse topic still ! When I do have the item he's ok.
The arch thief in glutinus manor - I found the hairpin without having talked to him - and then I did talk to him and he told me to talk to him :D
typo :
the hermit tells me that without them (the roots) he can't make the roots :D

Spoilers and bugs

Went to save ash - a major issue is that when I talk to the other prisoners and select the option "you are free" they tell me that I have to unlock the door first - which I have done. Turns up I have to unlock all the doors (including some empty cells' doors on the floor above - probably the prisoners were there before ?) Moreover the path grid down at the dungeon is a bit messed up. Also the topic "you are free" triggers combat in ash (she summons a zombie etc) and this is a bit buggy as she is not being attacked and I haven't even talked to her yet. Minor issue : the apple in her cell is owned by her (so when I picked it up she called me a filthy thief and this did hurt after all I 've been through for her).
Ah yes and when all is over and I talk to alex he tells me something about himself he shouldn't (like poor old Traven commenting favorably on Traven's reforms) - got it : "I have hunted necromancers with Alexander for years". I talked to him cause I expected to learn what are his plans after his retirement or something. Would be a nice touch.

This Mephala statue was really funny btw :)

And another one - accidentally killed a spirit servant - when I tried to activate the corpse he gave me the usual message (continues what he's doing). He wasn't doing much anymore :D

I am afraid I will be finishing this soon - any chances for an expansion ? :whistle:

Am really enjoying doing my part in Windfall - I have a question too:

How can I get Narn to be my fence? He doesn't have a trade button?

I asked him to take up fencing for the vampires, but nothing for me? :(

I downloaded the mod and started to play, in IC I meet this farmer whom were
searching for his father and we went to the cave and found his fathers skeleton
and the letter, the problem is that I do not get any update regarding the farmer
what to do? Wwe went all the way out of the cave.

Enter the portal. The farmer and his son is actually kind of a red herring and is just a plot device to get your character where (s)he currently is.

Yes I understand that but I have entered the portal and explored a little on Windfall but I still have
the quest in my diary and this farmer is following me around.

Ah...well, it's been a while since I played it, but I think you need to backtrack a while from the skeletal remains and talk to the son to get an update. He will then leave you.

I have done that all the way out of the cave on the IC side, no update no new topics from the son sorry.

So I've started this mod at least two or three times (with a few months break in between) and I've never gotten around to reporting this. I don't know if this is intentional or game-breaking, but it's always made me stop playing because I suspect it spoils the rest of the mod:

One of the early quests for Varo's Knights requires you to go into the sewers to find skooma bottles (this might have also happened when I played for the Righteous side). I tend to explore thoroughly, and I've ended up in the basemant of wherever The Saint is hiding (it's been a while, sorry). I'm able to just waltz right into his room and read the diary on his desk. Not really being sure what I was looking for except "clues", I read the diary, and I ended up discovering the true identity of The Saint and everything else that is written in the diary. This is all in one of the early quests, before I even know anything about the conflict between the brothers.


I don't know if this is intentional, but it seems pretty plot-breaking to me. I know I've done this at least twice (I forgot about the first time I did it). I do like the mod otherwise, but I always feel like I did things out of order and it breaks the mood. Am I supposed to find this out at this stage in the mod?

having problem with the diamond quest. I complete the two pre quest and when I get the key and goo down to the basemant to get the diamond in the statue on the desk nothing happens. Is this a problem with the mod or the quest it self any help would be appreciated thanks

For a mod of this size it was extremely polished on first release, but the few bug, the too brief journal entries and the mostly empty landscape are things that shouldn't be too hard or time consuming to fix.
And voice acting would probably help make it even more popular. For me it's one of the top 10 Oblivion mods (including tools) of all time.

I agree. It's a great mod and just needs a little love.

My pet peeve with the mod is that so many spaces do not have contents ownership set correctly or at all, so you can just fill your pockets with stuff right in front of the residents all over the island.

And, yeah, voice acting would be fun.

Now who was it that was telling me that using a low level character here is the best experience.

Perhaps it is because I'm using TIE and WAC, but man - I'm getting taught serious lessons in being humble. Perhaps it is because the resources at the town are not as much as say the IC ... I dunno probably TIE doing this but going into fort across the water (Fort Lucia) and I've so far faced on the first level conjurer adepts, spider daedra, storm atronachs - and one very persistent deer from WAC that nearly killed me when I thought he would be easy pickings. All this at level 1.

Otherwise I'm very much liking it. I don't expect there to be any updates but if there are - the landscape is awfully 'mod looking' - please puts some rocks on those cliffs. They look made of play-dough.

[EDIT] Just reached the bottom of that fort and there is a vampire patriarch. Thank gosh I don't have vampire enhancing mods like DP Nosferatu - OMG this guy is tough. So 1st level conjurers - not so bad. 2nd level mage-vampires. 1 hit kills -guess who dies.

Is that what is there even without TIE?

Nice mod, been playing it for over 18 months now during my stop start affair with OB...

Possibly spoily

I'm up to retrieving the artifact from the goblin tribe but I think I might have taken out the warlord ages ago whilst exploring. At least the little island in the lowest level has no one on it and I do recall being down there before. Also I'm pretty sure I know where the artifact should be but there's nothing there either.


Any tips? Resurrect the warlord with the console etc?

Yeah, I'll check again when I get home but pretty sure the chest in the little cave was empty and I can't recall if I looted it :shrug:

Will have a look in the editor see if I can work it out.

Any other suggestions?


Edit... Amusingly enough I had the chalice sitting in the bottom of inventory all along :facepalm:
