I noted that Seridur isn't registerd as a vampire when i type "getvampire" in the consol he comes out as a 0. and i don't get why. he has everything every other vampire NPC has sans the Vampireaction but two other vampires don't have that factin and they come ou t as a 1 am I missing somth ing? what exactly is needed to identify an NPC as a vampire?

Better to use getAV vampirism. A value > 0 will indicate that your NPC is a vampire.

Have you checked in the CS to see if Seridur really is a vampire? There's nothing in the quest that actually uses vampirism - he doesn't go outside to get sun damage, and he never shows any facial changes, so Beth might not have bothered. He has vampire dust in inventory, but then so do the vampire hunters in the "Information at a Price" quest if they've taken them from the Vampires in Bloodcrust Cavern. He might also be set as a vampire only when that is revealed by Roland Jenseric.
