Some unanswered questions are burning through my mind, though. Here's what I have bouncing around in my head:
Vampires -- Are they in? And will we be able to turn into one? My guess is that, most likely, yes, we will. It's been a staple for a long time now.
Werewolves -- I have a strange feeling that we're going to be seeing these guys and have the ability to turn into one again, but it's only a guess. It's killing me!
Cloaks -- I'm big on the little details of a fantasy world. And I've been dying for some real badass cloaks in an RPG for a long time. It looks like there is something of the sort in Skyrim (judging by the man walking into town in the trailer) but how varied will they be? I want to see colors and styles.
Robes/Cloaks -- I enjoyed the ability to wear a robe over your armor in Morrowind and DF. I'm wondering (and hoping) it will make a return in Skyrim.
Necromancer's Guild -- When, oh when, will we be able to officially join this faction? This could lead to all types of cool quests and goodies.
Spells -- They say 85 spells but is it really just Lightning Spell A that does 5 pts. of damage and lightning spell B that does 15 pts. of damage? I hope not. On a side note, I'm really happy we can use spells in different manners now. Very cool feature.
Spells 2 -- Oblivion's magic leaves something to be desired. Touch spells are the most reliable in my opinion, and visually everything was underwhelming to the point where it didn't really FEEL like you were wielding all-powerful world-crushing magic, you know? I hope Skyrim improves upon this. I want to feel like I'm harnessing the power of the gods with this arcane stuff.
Playing a pure caster -- Let's be honest, it's not really been viable up to this point. You always have to lean on using a sword or shield. Pure casters are just too damn squishy with too few options to defend themselves. Another issue I hope is remedied.
Secrets, secrets and more secrets -- This, Bethesda always does. Skyrim should be packed with them.
Collector's Edition -- Can't wait for this. You know it's coming.
That's all I have so far. If these things are implemented, fixed, improved upon and tweaked in Skyrim then I think it's safe to say this is going to be a game that absolutely steals my life away. And I'm going to love every minute of it.
