About:
This mod adds a great snow island in it's own cell which the player can travel to with the help of a nobleman in Imperial City. We weren't quite satisfied when we saw the snow world of Bruma. There wasn't really anything interesting and it wasn't as satisfying as Solstheim. In this mod we will counter that by creating an amazingly detailed snow island.

You are recruited by The Imperial Navy and sent on a peaceful mission to Thorlak Island... Or so you think. The journey to the island does not go as planned and suddenly you finally find yourself stuck in the middle of an escalating civil war between the Nord inhabitants and the Imperial newcomers. Nothing goes as you would hope and soon you find yourself choosing to side with the tribal Nords or the proud Imperials as you choose the fate of the island and eventually decide it's new rulers.
Will you bring glory to the Imperials, liberate the Nords, will you try to balance their influence or will you follow any of them with your own hidden agenda? It's up to you!

In Thorlak Island choosing to side with a Nord in one mission might decrease the trust from the Imperials in another, thereby affecting the outcome. Thorlak Island's quests are all about moral decisions and every quest has several outcomes depending on your choices throughout them. The most advanced side quests can have more five outcomes. All side- and main quests affect the game behind the scenes and can influence the outcomes of others and ultimately the fate of Thorlak Island. The mod currently contains the following features:
-A big and brand new snow island to explore!
-All new NPCs complete with AI!
-All new and exciting side quests complete wih moral decisions!
-New models and textures!
-New creatures to fight!
-Experience a real snow world!
-Much more!

The first release will contain a few hours of gameplay, but from there on it will be patched with new quests and locations all the way up to the release of TESV: Solstheim!

nice to see it up and running again! i saw it on moddb one time, started tracking then you cancelled. Will instadownload it when it comes out!

Great to see this back in production Nic-V :). I eagerly followed this one back when it first started and I'm glad you haven't given up. Looking forward to it!

The next step will be for me to go over our content and then see what of it meets our quality standard and what doesn't. When that is done I might rethink the story a bit :D

I have been redesigning some of the code and taken out a few weak elements in the Prerelease. Since I am free almost every day next week I plan on making a lot of progress :P

Okay so my friend and ally Tom and I just decided to trash the old landmass in favor of a new and better one. Some of the quests and the main concepts from the original mod will then be imported into this landmass. I shall share screenshots when we have something awesome :lol:

Tom and I who are working on the mod together have decided to use his castle which has been several years in the making and place the city of Dagesh besides it. This means we will have a fully new city complete with the largest castle in the game (unless you're playing with some crazy castle mod XD). I might show off some of this castle soon if I feel like it :P

We've released some new screenshots the new island. They reveal part of the new island and the silhouette of the castle. This island was original designed by Tom as a very grassy castle island but has now been converted, and it looks fabulous! So we've decided that our former idea of waiting until we have huge masses of content and then release it, just doesn't cut it. That's why we've decided on a 23rd of December release, followed by lots of content patches to add more and more features throughout the coming months. Furthermore we are going back to the Prerelease and using that as a base for the new mod. This means the new release will be very similar to the Prerelease at first, but as we patch it it should become much bigger and better. In case you missed it, the releasedate is the 23rd of December 2010.
