Hey people, I made an account because I'm stuck at a certain point with the BoS. Hardin is supposed to become the new Elder, but he keeps saying "come back to me in a few days". 2 weeks later, he still says the same thing. I'm on the PC version, and I cannot seem to get the command to work. Apparently I have to type this:

resetquest 0015d79d
setstage 0015d79d 100

So how do I type it? Do I leave a space between both commands, do I only enter one at a time, in the setstage command, do I replace the '100' with another number? Help would be muchly appreciated.

Access the console commands by hitting the tilde key ~. Then type in your command according to the correct format. If your command as written above doesn't work, try typing player. (with a period) first, then your command as written above. I've never used the console to reset a quest.

My feeling is that you missed something. As long as you're cheating (I don't think you have a bug), you might as well review the quest walkthrough to see what you missed. See the quests here:
