Invisible Animals?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 11:15 pm

Hi, whilst playing on Oblivion this morning, I was walking around Lake Rumare and stopped at Fort Caracatacus. Suddenly, I was being attacked but could not see anything attacking me. I then worked out from the sound that it was a rat and so, hoping it would follow me, walked backwards up a hill and cast flare onto it, (just stared a new game), i was able to work out where it was from it's body being on fire. This also happened with a Wolf straight afterwards. They both had Chameleon type effects on and I was wondering if they could actually have had Chameleon on?

Any one know anything about this? Or is this just a glitch?

Thanks.

You've run in to the results of a quest in Aleswell, just up the hill from the fort. Walk up there and poke around. If nobody talks to you, enter the inn.

But to answer the general question... yes, animals can be turned invisible by you, if you really want to do so, and assuming you have the ability to make custom spells to do it.
