Who will buy my stolen goods?

I have a lot of stolen goods and haven't found anyone so far who will buy it. I just started the Thieves Guild Quest but haven't progressed very far on it. Thanks.

The first and only fence you can use when you have not gotten promotions is Ongar the World-Weary. You find him in Bruma, Olav's Tap and Tack or his house. If you have The Vile Lair, there is also a shady character in the inn of Weye, but i don't know if selling to him is counted towards the TG missions.

Aside from Ongar, if you have stolen food or potions you can sell it to Manheim Maulhand at the Inn of Ill Omen even without being in the thieves guild. However he only has 50 gold to spend. If you've got at least 1000 gold and The Thieves Den DLC, you clear out Dunbarrow Cove and then hire the fence. Selling to either of these NPCs will count towards Thieves Guild progression, even if you haven't joined the guild yet.

And I can't pass up an opportunity to suggest, if you do deal with Manheim at the Inn of Ill Omen, go around behind the counter for a quick laugh.

Thanks. Yes, I have more than 1,000 gold and the Thieves Den DLC, so I will clear out Dunbarrow Cove (kill all and loot all, I'm guessing) and then hire Manheim Maulhand (or is that Ongar?).
