Paralyze is an illusion spells, so the Bravil Mages Guildhall is a good place to look -- since they specialize in illusion.

The Serpent Doomstone can get you a good paralyze greater power -- but that's only once a day:

Also, you can create some nice paralyze poisons with Alchemy

EDIT: Oh and you can also get a very nice Paralyze Staff if you get into the Arcane University at level 17 or above.

Don't know, since I play on the PC. I guess the 360 question is one for Microsoft. (But doesn't Microsoft have a little something to do with the PC too).

Hope you get it resolved so you can enjoy your new bear rolling hobby.

I actually think there's a lot more to the game than bear rolling. The game is, in my humble opinion, not about rushing through quests or getting achievements. It's about exploring, savoring the world. Like maybe just enjoying a sunset one a mountainside.

Good luck.

Well if you want to get quests out of the way before you start doing what you like to do, collecting, etc., don't expect to do anything of the sort until, hmmm, 100+ hours later.

Some controllers come with a cord, so you can play and charge at the same time. I find those very useful.

I made a mage character and used the preset mage class but I swapped out alchemy for Blade because when you start you don't have very powerful spells and not much magic. It also good when you get silenced, you could switch to your blade and do some damage.

If you don't have a filled soul gem, you can probably get that recharged at the local Mages Guild...
