I am sure this has already been discussed before, but these topics are always fun.

For the next game I really think they should have spears, and also be able to hit with a shield. It has always bugged me how whenever I want to hit someone it has to be with my weapon hand, and you can only block with a shield. You should also be able to kick, or at least hit with something other than the blade of a sword. Just being able to hit someone in the head with the back of a sword or even the flat of it would be pretty sweet, and could serve different functions, such as doing less damage, but having a higher chance to stagger them.

Does anyone else have any good ideas for additions to the next Elder Scrolls game?
