My main weapons are the Gauss and Multiplas Rifles, which really burn through the MF cells. I have 100 Energy Weapons and like 9 Guns, but I'm at level 30 so it's too late to switch to using any other type of weapon now. I killed the Van Graffs for Cass' quest and the BoS Bunker usually has a pitifully meager supply that doesn't restock when I need it. I'm about to resort to looting ammo off of Fiends to get by.

Any suggestions?
