Running Arena on Xp with DOSBOX

Hi all!I've succesfully installed arena,I can play,all is correct...but,the game runs ve "slow" like the lagg at online games...Is there any way to do that the game runs normal?

Tried upping/lowering the CPU cycles? (ctrl+F12/ctrl+F11)

Not sure if it was available back in 1994, but make sure you don't set Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 as your sound card (too high-end for emulation, I'd say). Best stick to normal Sound Blaster or Pro. If it runs too slow, up the cycles some more. Usually it works well for me at around 10000 cycles. Too many or too few cycles can make it choppy (especially noticable in sound), so it's best to find an optimal amount for your computer.
