I've played them all, only one I haven't finished is Arena. Daggerfall and Redguard hold the number 2 and 3 spots respectively if I was to list them. So yes the old games are quite good, though it might be hard to get used to them compared to modern games.

Yeah i would definatly have an issue with old graphics but thanks for the reply i always wanted to know peoples opinions on the older games.

Yep, I played Arena (but only 5 Staffpieces yet), Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, Morrowind and Oblivion. I still haven't finished Redguard, but Daggerfall is awesome and imho the best elderscrolls game after Morrowind. Oblivion and Battlespire are equally good and Redguard doesnt feel like and elderscrolls game.

Huzzah, me. Many a time.

They're all TES to me, Battlespire is my favourite (I love the feel of the first person Xngine engine! It is so nice)

I've own all the TES games, except for the phone version of Oblivion.

Most of them are a great deal of fun.

At the moment i'm almost finished with my TES marathon. I've been playing since february, beginning with Arena, then Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard and now I'm almost finished with morrowind with only the bloodmoon expansion left. I simply love these games.

Tried to play the official free download of Arena and got frustrated. (But that's more of a comment on my threshold for frustration than anything else). Just got Daggerfall running on my XP machine and still enjoy it. Also still playing MW and Oblivion.

Yeah, me too! I even purchased two of the phone games at one point. But they aren't half as good as the PC games...

IMO, Daggerfall is the best TES game by far. It had the most ambition (and bugs ;)) and it's scope still leaves me in awe. It's plot was better than Morrowind 's and Oblivion's and it just felt so much more realistic to me. Battlespire is damn good too, check that out in you can. Redguard is fun too but it's an adventure game, not a RPG, so it's different from the others.

Btw, Mark Jones, you did some great artwork for TES games. Any chance of you making a comeback? TES V maybe? Seriously I can't put up with those dough faced characters from OB any more :P. That Elven Noble you did is really good, gives off a real pompousness, I like it. :)

I'd love to work on the TES setries again. I don't think they use freelancers though, I think anything they need that can't be handled in house is outsourced to various companies. Could be wrong on that. Plus I think I need to add to my portfolio. Some nice Normal Mapping stuff. Currently I'm working on some characters for "Saga". Some nice undead characters...YUM!

Nice to see a friendly face Mark Jones :)

Have you been doing any more stuff on ElderScrolls Travels?
I wonder could Bethesda ever do something for the Nintendo DS?
They'd reach a large audience that way, catchem at a young age too.

I'm unfortunately out of the loop, so not sure where they are with TES at present. There is so many outlets for all things TES. Phones, consoles, PC,...SO I would expect something.
I see Zenimax is hiring big time, but they seem to be in-house positions.
