First Review

Oh. And I recently checked J.E. Sawyer's Twitter, and according to a tweet he got from a critic named Daniel Vavra, we can expect another positive review in the future. :fallout:

Vavra isn't "just" a critic. The guy was lead writer on Mafia 1 + 2.

Awesome review! This guy just confirmed all of the negative assumptions I could have possibly made after I read a couple of short previews and looked at a few screenshots.

I'll have my Crysis 2 review up later this afternoon if anyone wants to know whether or not it's good, and I've almost got the Bioshock Infinite review I wrote in the shower this morning typed up. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry. I've never played the Mafia games before, so I didn't know this.

Who cares what he or anyone else thinks about the gameplay mechanics. Its not like Bethesda or Black Isle or anyone lied, they pretty much came out and told everyone "Hey guys were using the engine Bethesda made for the game were just adding a few features." And honestly what do they expect? Do they understand how long it takes to build a completely new engine not to mention how much the game engine thats in use can adversely effect the gameplay of a game? I really don't want to start playing FO:NV and it feel like I'm playing Borderlands or Metro 2033. Not to mention he didn't even really mention anything that was new to the game, his review was so vague I think maybe all he did was pop in FO3 and review that lol.

This review appears so be a fake, from the comments section:

Obsidian Enertainment

This website did NOT receive a review copy of the game, and I can reassure you this website has not played the full version of this game. It is merely a pre-judged opinion of previously seen footage and should not, at ANY COST, be taken seriously as an ACTUAL REVIEW.
