Will there be guilds in Skyrim? If so, i believe once you get to the top of a guild the player should have more influence among characters in the the game. I believe on Oblivion once you became leader of a guild there were not as many benefits as you would feel you would really have if you were that leader.

More benefits, more power, more authority. But also harder to get there.

As for the OP I agree, I think there will be guilds, I don't know what kind of guilds, probably the usual combat, magic, stealth ++. Hopefully they will bring requirements back, It was weird to become listener when i had 19 sneak, or become arcmage with 15 destruction.

Pretty much this. I want to be able to take charge and be able to make major decisions affecting aspects of the game world, but it has to be incredibly difficult to achieve.
