roman armor?

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 6:40 pm

hi all.

Somewheres I read that a large mod gave the guards Roman armor. was it Waalx [realswords]? was it the Meogron knights? Or another recent mod?

I read that *somewheres*, in a readme, that the ?guards will have their armor change to Roman legion types. I could find nothing in the readmes for those two mods.

was it in the "new" archieved CURP project on fileplanet?

?????

ye mod detectives, *where* might there be roman mods, as of late 2010, for Oblivion?!

thanks...freestone

The WAC beta released a few days ago does have a WAC - Legion.esp that changes the guards appearance to be very roman-like. There are some issues with the esp you'd need to fix for yourself though as I reported http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1152670-wac-news/page__view__findpost__p__16874528.

thanks Peste. i knew I saw this somewheres. too too bad its bugged. of course WAC is a beta. maybe soon I will try this WAC.
the screenshots look good.

I always sort of thought that the World, of the elder games, had a "Roman" background, as if either in England or northern europe, when the Roman politics colapsed, the local kingdoms took over Management of the large and small territories.

Cyrodiil is based off, IMO, of the Romans, which probably where you got that impression. Each province has a very different feel to it though. if you played Morrowind you would notice a very different atmosphere.
