Darn YOU STEAM AND Darn YOU WINDOWS 7 PC ISSUE POP UP!!!

I swear I have the worse luck when it comes with my new computer. So here's what happens. I'm on my computer and see that STUPID flag in the bottom right corner saying i have issues. Well one of the issues says I have an update for Steam. So I do the dumbest thing EVER I go and update it. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I didn't realize that in the process of "updating" this PIECE OF CRAP it's uninstalling it along with all my games Oblivion, Fallout 3, MW2 and Portal.

The thing that really pisses me off is I've been playing for HUNDREDS of hours on Oblivion after it took me several tries to get FCOM and several other mods to install and work. Now I have to go back and figure out all the mods i had installed and then reinstall them.

Is there a point of this thread?

Updating Steam doesn't uninstall your games.

I don't know why but it did for me. In fact it got rid of all my mods and now I'm having to reinstall everything again.
