Hello guyz!

Im new here n i wan to ask some question about HDR / Self shadowing

But first i ill post my specs:

C2Q Q9550 2.8 GHz
MSI GeForce 9800 GTX+ with 186.18 forceware
2x HDD SATA II Seagate 7200 rpm 320 GB
Asus P5Q-E mobo
4GB DDR2 800 MHz Kingston
Windows XP Pro SP3
Directx 9.0c August 2010

So, i can play Oblivion with all settings maximized, but theres a annoying bug that make me sooo sad.

When i ve HDR enabled, a blue screen glitch happens when i cast a summon (ive the black screen when im sneaking on interiors cells i ve the black screen fix for nvidia from TES NEXUS) or some random actions. Some guides says that is a HDR shading problem. However today i make some tests n i figure out that IF i turn off the Self Shadow option this bug disappear, even with HDR ON! =z

I need to know if theres any Self shadow fix. I read on some forums that somebody make one n these guyz said that saw this one on elderscrolls forums =z. IMO is a Self Shadow shading problem.

Any1 can help me? I really wan to play Oblivion with self shadow

Self shadows are really, REALLY ugly anyway. I always keep them disabled.

Software can not cause a BSOD but they can trigger it. First impression is your video card has something wrong with wither it or the drivers. 186 is rather old, so try an upgrade.
