turning of asus speed doctor is not good advice in my case as it controls the speed of the fan ><

is there another fix i have to re-install drivers each time i play (pc has to be on) but each time it starts it crashes unless i re -install drivers .

i also had similar issue with fallout 3 but i solved this by turning of asus alchemy which I don't have installed any more.

Asus includes some conflicting programs, and they don't cause trouble for everyone, except for "Gamer OSD", which does seem to be bad all across the scale of the games I keep track of. You have to experiment with what you get from Asus, but SpeedFan is the "standard" for fan control, and never has caused anyone a conflict that I have EVER heard about.

i can give dxdiag if necessary.
