1)the guard shouts its all over lawbraker
2)i choose "I will not go with you"
3)the guard pulls out his sword but after 1 second he puts it away again

its like the whole interaction gets reset after 1-2seconds. Also the options in guards settings>guards follow player and guard settings>bribe amount are swaped.

Absolutely LOVE this mod, and I appreciate all the work you've done on it Reneer. It's been in my load over for well over a year.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same behavior with v1.98 as many of the other recent posts. Guards don't fight back when you attack them. I recently tried attacking a guard in Cheydinhal, The guard did not fight back but started yelling all the standard assault dialog "Help there's a maniac on the loose, etc, etc...". Townspeople come to the guard's aid and start attacking me but eventually the guard starts spamming me with standard dialog "May I help you?", etc, etc..." I actually have to run away from the guard in order to get out of the dialog loop.

I don't have pluggy installed at the moment so I'll need to do that if you need a debug file. For now, just wanted to let you know that I am also seeing this behavior in 1.98. I saw that you posted there may not be a 1.99. If that's true, I'll just need to go back to 1.86 which seemed to work for me.

UPDATE -

Apparently I needed to follow the update instructions to a tee and now everything is working perfectly. I started my game using version 1.97a. When I upgraded to 1.98 I didn't follow the upgrade instructions step-by-step. After doing that, now everything seems to be working as expected. I attack a guard, he fights back, I try to yield, he arrests me with no spamming. I tried it 4 different times and it's working exactly as expected.

Steps I took -
1) coc to RenCrimeCell
2) Save and exit
3) Deactivate RGO (also had to deactivate my bashed patch or game would not load)
4) Loaded saved game. This put me in the (Tiber Septim Hotel since RGO was now gone and RenCrimeCell gone)
5) Saved and exited.
6) Re-enabled RGO and rebuilt my bashed patch.
7) Loaded saved game and coc'd back to where my character originally started.


Everything now working great!

It sounds like you aren't running the latest version of the mod. Download RGO 1.98 and it should eliminate your Infamy issues, unless they are being caused by another mod.


I am using RGO 1.98...it appears I have found an issue, not sure if it is related to your mod or not. When I am walking and I get a message that "my infamy has increased", if I continue walking and holding the W key down, it continues spamming and increasing infamy. If I let go of the key, I only get the one message and it only increases one time...very weird...

RGO 1.98 does not modify infamy at all. I removed all that code back in RGO 1.96.

The guards in Cheydinhal followed me all the way to Vaermina\'s Shrine (approx. 1/3 of the way to Imperial City), is this normal ?

Also had a problem with being a vampire, then curing myself, some guards where arresting me for being a vampire. Might be related to LTD-Vampire Overhaul.


Pickpocketed (once) Contumeliorus Florius while he was sleeping (took nothing), ran out side. All the guards came running for me, one after the other telling me to surrender, I resisted arrest every time. Used player.payfine at the end:
