I think they should do it in the style of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
No no no, not have epic breakbeat composed by Amon Tobin.... but have DYNAMIC music. The way it worked in that game was just.. amazing. It had bits of the song comming in and out as you played. I think Banjo did this too on the old N64...
But yeah, splinter cell style. In that game, you'd be walking along alone and you'd have this mysterious, dark soundscape playing. Then you'd hear guards comming and another layer would be added, a more tense kind of sound. You'd duck behind a wall as they walk past, and begin stalking them... following them 5 inches behind, and the music goes down to practicly nothing and its so tense... then you go in with the knife, but his friend has seen you and starts firing, and suddenly this heart thumping beat kicks in and a bassline comes on as guns fire and people scream.
All of this was done seamlessly... incopriate this dynamic music into skyrim and I'll cry tears of joy. Obviously they wont because its an open world game, they would have mentioned it by now and if they havent started on it allready its to late, so no chance. But food for thought... imagine running towards a dragon with some fast past strings/brass, straffing a stream of fire as you get closer whilst the music builds and builds... then you swing down with your sword just as the male choir begin singing "dovakhin, dovakhin..."
