I've recently played and finished Nehrim, but now I want to jump back into Oblivion. After uninstalling Nehrim, I launch up the obse loader to find that the Nehrim laoding screen still appears.

The game then shows the main Oblivion menu with the scrolling map of Cyrodiil, but instead of the usual "OBLIVION" title, it displays the Nehrim title. Is there some kind of trace of Nehrim left in the data folder? I think I may have
mistakenly installed Nehrim in the Oblivion folder but I think I've removed all traces of it.

What would be the right course of action? Reinstall Nehrim/Oblivion or something?

I'd recommend backing up saves you want to keep and uninstalling Oblivion - then making sure there is no legacy by going through the folders by hand.

Everything I know about running Nehrim and Oblivion together at the same time I put http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1118767-nehrim-and-mods/. It may have clues of where to look for legacy.

by legacy I mean things it was supposed to uninstall but did not.

then reinstall Oblivion.

For you to see the Nehrim logo on the title screen, the mod must have replaced the "tes_oblivion_logo_bink" and "tes_oblivion_logo_final" - I know from when I've made my own custom logos and map loops for the game.
To replace them, I think all you have to do is delete the flies that Nehrim has placed in the folders. Then, the Oblivion Textures BSA should take precedence and show the original Oblivion logo.

The paths for the folders in which the logo files are:

Oblivion/Data/Textures/menus/Loading/tes_oblivion_logo_final

I'm curious - can you still play the actual game, as in Load, create New, etc?

I looked into the subfolders but I could only find

are missing.



I can only access the main menu, no loading, no new game or anything.
I can't tell which folders have been replaced and which ones haven't.
