So, I just finished the Boone 2nd Quest "I fogot to forget..?" and his armor reward is not avaible to me. I have read that he will not give it to you but you can take it from him.....how? I got to inventory like usual and nothing is there....am I doing something wrong or is it a glitch.

He's not supposed to give you anything. If you're reading methods for taking his armor away from him, that would be the glitch.

His Recon Survival Armor doesn't appear in his inventory ever for me but that's ok. I find it funny though that he keeps changing clothes. I have him carrying some extra Combat Armor and he keeps switching from one to the other...many times a day. What a clothes horse.

Uh, he does upon completion of the quest I Forgot to Remember to Forget. Depending on what dialogue option you choose you can end up with either Boones 1st Recon Survival Armour or his 1st Recon Assault Armour.

I read that in the Game Guide too but it didn't happen. Like I said, it's ok though. I have Reinforced Combat Armor and I think his Survival Armor might benefit me somehow? Not sure about that.

As far as the actual dialogue/in game text said, Boone is the one who is supposed to get new armor, not you.

So the Official Game Guide and the Wiki are both wrong?

Yes, he's the one who gets the armor.

Boone gains either 1st Recon Survival Armor or 1st Recon Battle Armor depending on your dialogue choice at the end of the quest. If you tell him to change, you get the former; and if you tell him it happens you get the latter. They both provide the same qualities of armor and bonuses, the exception is in the aesthetics only. Boone automatically gains the armor and wears it, you will not receive it, you will not see in the ground, etc. The only way is to give him another Apparel and he then changes. If there is no graphical change in Boone, and the quest has been completed, something went wrong.

I agree I do not care to get it. The survival armor doesn't look at that great to me, are there any bonuses that come with it?

No, it doesn't come with any bonuses.
