I'm a passionnate reader of these boards, and I decided to finally register, seing that no one seem to ask the following question (maybe because it seems obvious for all of you!)

When I saw the screenshots, the first thing that popped to my mind was : "wow, they made a nice progress on the body! Now I really look like a barbarian!"

Thats great because I often play as a barbarian, with board and shield, and a body like on the new screenshot really fits the character.

But...!

Do you think everyone_like in previous tes games_ will have the same body (with only a difference in height/colour, or that it wi be based on races (nord stronger than bosmer for example!)

I would be satisfied with the second choice, although I don't want a conan body with my nord mage for example (just throwing random example), as I don't want the body of a little girl If I play full melee with my bosmer/breton/aldmer

So it would be quit logical to have a body based on the race and on the skill (a bosmer is not a nord, but a bosmer with 100 blade and board skill should look stronger than a full archer bosmer, in my opinion!)

I'm not complaining, just wanting youre opinion! As I said i'm very hyped about skyrim, even if they don't base body on skills (à la Fable), because it's very very complex to do, and it's maybe not a priority right now!

Yep, each race should look significantly different from the others. For example, the general consensus seems to be that this screenshot shows a dark elf:

Also all of the armor sets will supposedly have special meshes for each race to fit the unique body shapes.

It's already said that you will be able to cusomize your body, so obviously not all NPC will show the same body either.

So no other reactions?
