I will be buying F:NV and I would like to know, is there a way to purchase the DLC(s) the first day it comes out [DLC] without buying it through Steam, because I hate steam with a passion and I also don't trust it. Thanks!

There are no DLCs available at release. Well there are pre-order packs but they're only available if you've pre-ordered the game.

If you mean more generally we don't have any details. The FO3 DLC were available online before they were available in retail bundles and it wouldn't surprise me to see that used again.

Given the current http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1121886-dlc-exclusive/ with the announcement that the first DLC will be a Live exclusive I'm going to go ahead and lock this. I realize that the issue you raise is different but at the moment we're trying to keep the DLC conversation to one thread.
