3rd person view.

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 11:32 am

I just want to ask a simple question about the new game. Will they let you zoom in and out on your character in 3rd person? I believe most like FPS and I do too. I just like both in terms of seeing my character, is Armor, and area view. So anyone that has info about the Fallout: New Vegas game before it launches please let me know. I'm just curious about it. I hope you can zoom in and out. I don't really like the over the shoulder thing, well not that much at least.

all that I know is that 3rd person in Fallout 3 svcked, it they improve it I might give it a try, in Fallout 3 I would only go into 3rd person when not in combat so that I could see how bad ass I looked

You can zoom in and out like before, I think they just positioned the camera so you can see the sights of your guns when firing, and they made 3rd person more accurate and viable to use in general. Plus new animations. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed by it.

If you look at the Best Buy Q&A demo, Tess changes the views during the demo.

3rd person kind of agitating with that over-the-shoulder view. I'd prefer it centered. Like the other guy said, only worth using to see how bad ass you look.

I understand, but what I am asking without any opinions. Will Fallout: New Vegas let you zoom your character from shoulder view to full body view and more? The same way it was in fallout 3. I could zoom to shoulder view or pan out to show my character and surrounding area entirely. That is what I am asking?

Asking that and can it be used on the X- box 360 and ps3?

It can also switch from 3rd person to ADS as well now, no first person view required.

I know this is probably getting annoying. But to confirm what I am asking. You are saying that I can zoom my character view from shoulder to full body and more on the new game Fallout: New Vegas? I can do this on the X-box 360 and PS3? The same way you could on the game Fallout 3? I'm sorry for asking, but I'm just confirming your answer.
