Don't think I've seen anyone with this problem, but thought I'd just put this out there. After I complete the final mission in the game, the slide show starts and then my game crashes. Has anyone else who beat the game and have it crash on them when the slideshow starts? Or anyone have some ideas how to work around it?

I have this problem as well, right when the narrator starts talking the whole game crashes. I have updated my nvidia drivers and everything. I even uninstalled the game and it still happens. HALP!!!

This is hopefully one of the many, many things that this patch they're working on is going to address... whenever they decide to put it out -- may take a long time.

I'm unable to watch the slide show, too.

Feels like a real jip. Played for so long and waiting for the final victory. Only to have it crash. Always able to bypass crash problems in other parts of the game, but you really can't choose anything differently with the slideshow.

But as long as this is something they are looking into, that's a reassuring, although seems lame that you gotta wait for an unknown amount of time. Especially since the game is done.

I am having the same problem, it crashes on the ending slideshow after it starts. I usually get the first part and then it crashes when it switches slides. sometimes I get to the second slide before it crashes and sometimes it crashes immediately upon entering the slideshow. Very frustrating. I am playing through a second time now, and I am trying to stick purely NCR this time (last time I started out doing the hose stuff and found myself locked out of the NCR missions before I could decide on a side. (I wound up being forced to blow the BoS bunker even though I didn't want to since I was locked out of the NCR missions at that point. I wound up killing a bunch of people I didn't want to kill just because I couldn't advance any other way.

I just made a thread of this same problem. Positively thinking, since it's not just me it may get fixed

Ya I saw tour thread too. Same problems. It's quite strange, and a disappointment. But like you said, hopefully it'll be addressed in the next patch. I sent an email, hopefully that'll get their attention as well as other people who have the same issue.

Ya same here. Word for word. I actually saw the next slide and thought it was gonna make it, but......CRASH! I've also started a new character as well. Probably should side with the NCR too. Maybe that is why we can't see the ending, for not helping out the NCR, j/k.

I'm wondering if it may be a bugged script. When I was trying to convince Mr House not to wipe out the BoS I told him I had gotten the BoS to agree to not attack, and then it gave me the option to tell him they had agreed to aid the NCR. Neither of which were true. I had completed the Still in the Dark and I Could Make you care quests. I did not do the eyesight to the blind quest.

I found my own fix for this. Rather than starting the game normally use the Fallout Mod Manager for the game. Make sure the game itself starts and not the launcher when you click "Launch Fallout:NV". If the launcher starts then just close it and repeat. Also in the Fallout Mod Manager go to (on the top of the window) "Load Order" and then BOSS Auto Sort. I am not sure if Auto Sort did anything on my end but hey, worth trying.

Also a worth note, so long as the game does not launcher from the launcher first you .INI will not reset. Another thing I would like to bring up is that the Launcher itself causes your custom .ini file to reset. So using the mod manager is really a big must.

All those hours spent and to end like this is BS. Ive gotten as far as the 3rd slide ive only tried it 3 times but i think it will do it every time so im not bothering . Its unexceptible work on this game . Mostlyu i think is because there were only 2 testers for this game. IMHO thats a joke and explains alot of the WHY this game is so buggy/glitchy.

I have reinstalled the game 3 times. I have tried to play the game without any mods and I still crash right after the ending cinematic starts. The thing is, this happened right after the recent patch. Before the patch everything was fine. Even starting with fallout mod manager without the game launcher didn't help. This is really frustrating since I really wanted to see the Yes-Man ending :'(

Blargle no. Oh how I dread taking another look at an ending cinematic only to have it crash now.
