McNamara vs Hardin

Post » Mon Sep 06, 2010 3:03 pm

I've read a decent amount of info about the outcomes of choosing McNamara or Hardin.. but one is the most important to me:

Access to the BoS armory...

On Fallout Wiki people have said that McNamara = full armory access & power armor training?

But Hardin is both also? Or just the armor training?

Any important input welcome :)

As a side note, I talked to "Yes Man" recently, but didn't get the point of "selecting" factions (or deselecting them?) -- what's the whole deal here?

both should give you power armor training(though they give different versions of power armor) and access to the full armory if you complete all of their quests. The difference between which one you wish to support is if you want to be able to make a treaty with them on a NCR faction supported playthrough. McNamara is open to making a treaty with them against the Legion, but Hardin is not. So it only matters if you want to kill them all later during For the Republic part 2 or be able to make a treaty instead..

Yea McNamara is the way to go. Well I found him better than Hardin and you dont have to kill the brotherhood when siding with the NCR.

Yes Man tells you how to take control of New Vegas, so basically Yes Man and yourself will be a faction. :-) oh, and New Vegas.
