Anvil Bay Expansion Problems

Today I was walking around Anvil's bay, and I noticed some odd buildings and missing meshes. I decided I'd look into what mod this was, and it turned out to be Anvil Bay Expansion. I don't remember ever installing this mod. It might have come with another one that I have, but I really don't know. So I went into my Oblivion folder, and finding some files associated with it, I deleted them all. I loaded my game back up, but the mod was still activated. So I decided I'd install it normally and see if it would overwright the files. It didn't tell me there was any conflict with folders, but I decided I'd load my game up and see. Everything was still looking the same, but there was a second copy of everything inside the original. So my framerate died and there was weird shadows and glitchy textures everywhere.

Not related, but you're only supposed to use one. Since you're using Open Cities, the second one is the only ESP you should activate.

You also didn't read the readme that came with Open Cities, did you? Since it covers the ABE issue there.

That said, it won't be there come the next release for OC.
