Would you like a character everyone loves to hate? : V

It's a simple question. Previous TES games we have had characters like Fargoth from Morrowind or The Fan from Oblivion that everyone just love to hate and shoot off of Mountains. My question is, if you would like see such a character again in Skyrim?

Reply to the OP: Um, YES!!! Those characters we love to hate are the absolute best, and we simply must see them continue to annoy the hell out of us, just so we can think of creative and "inspired" ways to dispose of them... :hubbahubba:

Skyrim would not be a proper TES game without such an NPC.
As for whether or not it's a Bosmer once again as the Most Hated NPC, I'd actually prefer to see an Altmer cop it this time.

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago suggesting a "sneering fan" or some such (Bosmer) character that complains about your feats as if they were too little too late. I believe one of the suggested phrases he would say was something along the lines of "took you long enough to kill that dragon, my clothes are all scorched and ruined". Or even a (Bosmer) character that gets it into his head that he is your rival and he tries to one-up you at random points throughout the game. I really liked those ideas.

I think they go with Bosmer soley for nostalgia purposes. There've always been crazy characters in Elder Scrolls games, but the most memorable ones usually tend to be Bosmer i.e. Fargoth, Gaenor, Glarthir, Maglir, Adoring Fan, etc. Personally I hate the little buggers and I make it a point to slay at least one of their kind each time I load the game, but that's just me.

I liked the Adoring Fan, I left him permanently stationed just outside my house in Skingrad, sort of like a watchdog haha
When I think of characters I love to hate from Oblivion, the first one that comes to mind is that dark elf who makes fun of you at the very start (like if you're Argonian he says "you'll never get to swim again.. bwa haha!"), going back to kill him for that Dark Brotherhood quest actually made me laugh out loud :biggrin:

Really? I can understand you hate them... that's the point. That means they did it right!

But really, don't you know annoying people in real life? People that just drive you mad? I think having that presence would add to immersion. I mean, they must obviously be avoidable, but you would have to bump into them at least once!

Don't worry even if a developer didn't add a specific NPC to be annoying, there will always be one NPC that is hated by most.

I'm sure they have 1 or 2 intentionally in the game though. And maybe 10 or so more we will hate too.

PS - I hope its another annoying chubby little bosmer with a squealy voice, I want to hear his shrill scream when I throw him down the Throat or tumble him down the stairs like a slinky.
