Which Skyrim feature do you want most?

Post » Sat Jan 01, 2011 3:32 am

None of the above.

The ONLY thing I really want to see is as many choices and consequences as possible. I want to be given a quest and then have to figure out how to deal with it. I don't want a "journal" to tell me what I decided to do next and a GPS unit to tell me where to do it. I don't want a set series of steps that I have to complete in a set order to get a set conclusion. I want to just do whatever it is that the character would do and have whatever it is that would happen as a consequence of that happen. If I have that, I don't care about eye candy. And if I don't have that, I still don't care about eye candy.

I might be the most excited person about Radiant Story.
I LOVE the concept, sounds awesome. Can't wait to try it out.

My vote is with rather Radiant Story or Revamped Combat.
Dual weilding and Madass story placement FTW!

Flexible AI that can outsmart me?, I could use a challenge.

Im curious as to the amount of randomly devised scenarios it can come up with.

I also wonder if there is a stopping point, or if they just keep going however long you play and never run out.

Well I really want them to bring back the Morrowind Quest system, and a journal that updated quest like morrowind. I want to be to explore and ask npc to move quest along. None of that oblivion/fallout Quest. That sadly was not one of the choses. So I must pick hand crafted Dungeons.

Still even if the Quest and story svcks. I think Skyrim will be good thanks to the work they put in the dragons.

Oh, got another one I'd most definitely like to see (not confirmed, just wishful thinking.).
Since I can't use mods or console commands or blah blah blah I'd very much like it if I could completely turn off the compass, including the quest marker.
I think it simplifies finding things waaaay too easy, hell, most of the time I look on the compass when out in the woods rather than the actual environment.
So yeah, I would like the optiont to turn it off while leaving the rest of the HUD alone.

I picked revamped combat because I feel like it was one of the biggest flaws in Oblivion. Combat is one of the most common things you're doing in-game. It makes sense to have it be more fun, more exciting, more immersive.

I'm looking forward to the handcrafted dungeons that hopefully will be nice and lengthy and full of loot. :D

I would vote for everything, but I cant so its Radiant Story for me. Think of the possibilities, you could be on a Radiant quest without knowing it until you discuss it with friends when they stare at you thinking "What the..."

I voted for "Radiant Story" (assuming it works), but one thing not on the list is an English language localisation that doesn't have US spellings. Please? I know that both American and non-American-based games (and other software for that matter) are both terrible for not bothering to change the spellings, but it'd be nice if they did: it's not as if the respective markets are too small to make the effort...

I'm anxious to see how the revamped archery system will pan out with the longer draws and more damage. I really want to pick off enemies from a long distance with a single arrow.

Stealth is my main playstyle so I'm mostly excited about the new levels of awareness for npcs and by the finishing moves, although there aren't many details out yet.
From your list I vote for real time dialogue, it's a change that I've wanted all along.

And of course, the carriage transport system, a great addition.
