So You Finish Skyrim what now?

Post » Sat Jan 08, 2011 11:13 am

I'm hoping for the combat system to be really fun and that fighting with a sword + shield, dual wielding and 2handing is a completely different feeling. If that's true then i'll probably replay the game several times until i found my favourite type of melee combat. Then i'll probably start downloading mods, modding a bit myself while i wait for some dlc :D.

Then I do it again with a different character. Duh :P
Seriusly though: I still play vanilla OB and MW(with breaks of course) and this game is supposed too be better than both of them. I think I will be able too play Skyrim many times in different ways, and still be going when they announce TES:VI(Hopefully Hammerfell, IMO)

I was just thinking do you think we should keep playing after the main story Is completed or wait for a DLC to let us to keep playing through. (Me I hope we don't need a DLC to do so I don't have that much money you know?)

This is Elder Scrolls not fallout. Elder Scrolls games do not end. In case you mean finish the main quest, the answer to that will be finish any side quests and guild quests that I haven't done yet. As for what I do when I have the PS3 platinum trophy, well I will probably start another character and keep playing until Fallout 4 comes out. Which I will beat in 3 weeks, complain about it being inferior to Skyrim and Oblivion and then go on to play Skyrim again until Elder Scrolls 6: Black Marsh comes out.

One does not simply "finish" Skyrim.

This, and mods. Although they are basically the same.

Prolly wont even touch the MQ after completing the guilds fitting my character. MQ's have never really appealed to be in TES games.

By the time I finish everything in Skyrim, Elder Scrolls 6 will probably be out. I've still got things I haven't done in the other games; I've still got to finish the Thieves Guild in Oblivion and never even joined the Morag Tong yet.

A good 50% or more of the current threads are pointless. Its either complaining about whats confirmed, praising what is confirmed, or hoping a developer will actually listen to their ideas. All pointless.

Pretty much..

Me... I'm going to look forward to the Unicorn and Levitation DLC. I'm not sure if I can afford the $300 each though

Unicorn was 100, levitation was 300. you could start with unicorn... it's reasonable i think ;)

hm. considering i never "finished" morrowind or Oblivion or daggerfall...I really don't know! been playing Oblivion almost 5 years straight now, still finding new things.

heck started morrowind with the graphics extender just recently. it's a whole new game to look at!

I don't think it'll be (or hope it won't be) like Fallout 3 where u finish the main story and your whole experience endes unless u have the DLC.

I think it'll be like Oblivion where u can continue to develop your character, do side missions and become super-powerful. Thats what I like.

I almost never finish the MQ until i have exhausted all other side-quests & Exploration. Games last 100x More for me because i'm the kind of person that has to mark every location on the in-game map and explore every dungeon, Do as many side-quests as possible, damn, now i'm even more excited, just thinking about exploring that map. *drool*

So You Finish Skyrim what now?

Oh dear, you're asking a gaming forum what you should do when you finish the game?

If you graduated high school, get a job. If you're too young, study and stay out of trouble. Thats my most healthy suggestion..
