MiniMap comes with OMOD Conversion Data. Just make an OMOD out of it, and then install it and follow the installation questions. Read the readme too. It's always a good idea to read readme's of mods you are using.

Okay. For OBMM. You need to either extract MiniMap, click "Create" in OBMM and click "Add Folder", or don't extract MiniMap, click "Create" in OBMM and then click "Add Archive" (I recommend extracting MiniMap first - some mods have extra files that are not necessary for the mod [don't know if MiniMap does - if memory serves, it doesn't]). Whichever way you choose, browse to your archive/folder and double click it. You'll get a prompt telling you if you want to import OMOD Conversion Data; you do. That's it. Let it build.

For OBSE. You need to have it in your "Oblivion" folder. The same one as Oblivion.exe. Launch Oblivion from the "obse_loader.exe".

You mean the MiniMap isn't showing up in-game? Download MenuQue from Nexus. Install it in your OBSE/Plugins folder. You'll have to create it yourself in your "data" folder. See if that helps.

You need to install it where the Oblivion.exe file is. It has to be there. That's why MiniMap isn't working.

That is toggleable with the "*" key on your numpad.

You're quite welcome too, by the way. Keep adding mods, using tools like OBMM and Wrye Bash, and you'll learn quickly. The world of modded Oblivion is great. Vanilla Oblivion is near boring comparability speaking.
