CTD Returns

Well the CTD returns to my game... well actually they were there, but not this frequent
CTD happens random, when entering city's , instant travelling, just walking around etc

I started getting hangs in very simalar circumstances and was advised to run the WB Repair Abomb function on my save game - did this and the problems went away.

If you have been playing for many hours, then this might help (had been playing for about 600 hours)

You are going to get CTD's with a modded Oblivion game. That's just the nature of the beast.

Thats true though, but i havent had them this often, it went from 1 in 1 hour to 4 in 1 hour

I wish I could be more help, but I get CTD's every 30 mins. I've given up trying to troubleshoot them.

Things I did to get my game more stable...

1. Disabled Autosave and scripted Autosave.
2. Used TES4Edit to clean all the mods I installed.
3. Use BOSS for my load order
4. Used Wrye Bash's bashed patch feature and imported most items.
5. Used TDT with SetDebugText 13 to adjust the textures I was using until using less then the amount of graphics card memory available (this one really helped stablalise my game a lot)

I am currently running 343 mods plus many texture replacers, etc and I get to play for at least an hour (usually much longer) without any crashes.

I've never had issues with autosaving crashing my game. I do have problems with Streamsaves crashing and corrupting. It may have to do with the fact that I have "Purge before Save" enabled. I've read that that can cause instability.

Have version that are mistmatched could be cause of problems has well..OOO.esm read 1.34, OOO.esp read 1.33,

replace OOO.esp with correct 1.34beta5 once again..

and update MMM Diverse Waterlife to version that is in MMM thread post 3..
