the adventures of Decumus Scotti

personally one of the things i loved doing in Oblivion was reading all the books and lore. one of the series was The Argonian Account which was about Decumus Scotti who was also in A Dance In Fire.
do you think there'll be another Decumus Scotti story?

also i personally hope that the books will still be readable as i was dissapointed that they were not in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.
they really added to the Lore of the TES world, especially for newbies to the series

It wouldn't be TES without readable books, so rest easy friend.

And yes, I think Scotti has become something of a staple, it would be good to read another of his adventures... maybe Decumus could give us a first hand account of the recent happenings in Morrowind?

Then agani, I believe this game is supposed to take place some 200 years after Oblivion? (correct me if I am wrong, but that's what those who have read the novel seem to purport) so Scotti probably would have died many many years ago. :(

All hell Oblivion gates would break loose if they took readable books out of TES. I'm going to guess it wasn't it Fallout because that was never part of the Fallout franchise.
The lore is my favorite aspect of TES so any new books will be gladly welcome by me :read:

it was something nagging at me. my favorite and most memorable moment of oblivion were not of combat but rping, walking around town in civlilian gear or lounging in my characters houses reading. in actual fact i disliked gungeon delving and only did it when quests required it of me.
so the books and lore aspect are a huge part of the series so i was more just salving my own concerns.

i can not describe my joy when i found the books section on the Elde Scroll wiki :read:

A lot depends on whether Bethesda has hired Ted Peterson and MK to write more books. "A Dance in Fire" and other ingame fiction books were written by Ted Peterson as far as I know, and MK wrote the Sermons and most of the other philosophical lore.
