Been away from modding for awhile.

Hey everybody, I've been away Oblivion modding for a few months now. The last big thing was the fact that there was a glimmer of hope for Deadly Reflex 6 but nothing had been confirmed, and Nehrim was just announced for the German version. Have there been any big updates or mods since then for Oblivion modding as a whole?

Sweet, thanks for the hasty replies! Was there anything else that was pretty big released? Anything ever happen to Unnecessary Violence or anything new in the way of FCOM?

I believe there has been some work on FCOM, but I don't run it, so I don't know the nature of the work. Nothing about UV though. I've got a pm to Hex that still hasn't been read :( I had heard he had surgery on his wrist, but I think that was a while ago.

Ah, TheNiceOne has released a ton of updates to his mods and released some new ones. There have been a lot of updates to OBSE and BOSS. There's also been a lot of work on CBash and Wrye Bash itself.

I'm just trying to summarize some of the biggest updates, but I'm afraid I've left a lot out. Oh, Supreme Magicka just got updated to 0.9 too - no longer a beta. As I said, lots of stuff - scan the first 10 pages of the forums and you should get most of them

Oh and the other biggie: you've probably noticed the forum changes. Well the search function has been fixed - you can search titles only now, so that might help! Also code tags have syntax highlighting in some odd language which isn't Oblivion scripting, so if you don't want the highlighting, use xml tags instead.

FCOM and its components have been thru a few updates in the not so distant past, currently if it UFCOM...... there's a thread for it around somewhere.

Currently waiting for UV2 to come out...... :D No clue when that's gonna happen though.

PyFFI is now easier to use that I ever imagined. Click on folder and choose PyFFI meshes. Speaking of, PyFFI wants Python 2.6+ but Wryebash specifically wants Python 2.5. I seem to have both 2.5 and 2.6 installed and see no problems.

Other than that, I've discovered that OOO 1.33 by itself is a resource hog and I cannot have it and RAEVWD with acceptable frame rate.
