Poison Effects

I really didn't like how poison worked in OB. There was only poison bottles that were all one time uses, and they really didn't do much. "Damage speed by five" Wow! So deadly! The best you could find was damage health by 20 or something, which by the time you got to higher levels it wasn't really that much damage. In Morrowind my favorite spell/enchant effect was poison. I would really like to see the return of weapons with poison effects, and spells that poison enemies. If not that at least make poison actually worth while, and somewhat deadly.

yeah it seemed like the Devs went all out to use as many alchemical combinations in as wide range as possible in Oblivion. I say they made a pretty darn good effort at it and gave us a massive range of recipes to mess with. I have to agree though that some of them were more useful that others, but man, they gave it a good go. I heard rumors that the alchemy skill will better cater for poison lovers this time around, and I bet they have learned from Ob.

I would have liked to poison my arrows/blades with the poison apple juice =D I found the most useful poison effect to be paralyze, but I agree, poisoning should be made to be much more useful.

They improved poisons in Oblivion and they surelly do again in Skyrim, as suggest the fact that alchemy is now a stealth skill.

Silence was an amazing poison against any evil magic users. Burden often worked well against a heavily armoured, double weapon weilding baddie too.

But I know what you're saying - there were a lot of pointless combinations!

I hope poisons have stages you know the 4 max alchemical properties in a poison/ alchemical ingredient? they should occur in stages, like damage stamina, drain strenght, blindness moderate and damage health so and so percent :D and if your alive it wears off :P

each poison vile should be resuable not an omni bottle that delivers the same amount on one sword as it does a daggarr.
